Excellent comment and advice as well, Bob! If any of your clients should ever need help in creating their own Gravatar, ask them to contact me.
Good advice, Lisa. Gravatars really do separate professional looking blog comments from amateurs. Some women business owners have told me they had reservations using their real picture for their avatar for security or privacy reasons. For them, I recommend using their business logo or if that doesn’t work, create a simple square image with their company name or tagline in it. but have it created professionally. An amateurish looking avatar is almost worse than no avatar. Remember, this is representing your business to everyone that sees it.
